Leicester City knocked the doors of Manchester United last winter to take Andreas Pereira on loan. However the clubs could not agree on a deal and now according to DailyStar, the defending champions are back in order to sign him permanently this summer.
Leicester City accomplished an almost herculean task last season of winning the Premier League and they will need squad depth and more players in their team if they want to manage the busy schedule of Champions League and domestic competition.
Andreas Pereira is a highly rated 20-year-old youngster who will be part of Manchester United pre-season tour in China. Even though he is not a regular starter for the club, it is difficult to see how United will let go of one of their most promising youngsters, especially after the Paul Pogba incident. Nonetheless, Leicester City will try to sign him and United will most likely keep rejecting any approaches for Pereira.
