Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho could be banned for five matches if the Football Association (FA) finds him guilty for using sexist remarks against club’s doctor Eva Carneiro during Chelsea’s 2-2 draw against Swansea on the opening day of the season.
BBC reported that theFA is looking into a file complaint on Mourinho for using an abusive or sexist language towards Eva Carneiro after a public viewer has emailed FA the video footage of Mourinho shouting at her.
FA regulations state that players and coaches can be penalised for using offensive, insulting or abusive language and/or gestures and usage of such things can lead to a minimum five-match ban, if the accused is proven guilty.
In the dying stages of the game, Eva and head physio Jon Fearn rushed into the field to treat Eden Hazard, who was down after receiving a knock and this left Mourinho angry as he started to shout at his medical staffs. Some reports say that Mourinho uttered the word s**t at Eva and that could land him in trouble.
