Breaking! Arsenal Ready To Sign Another Real Madrid Star

Share

Buzz Sport has reported that Arsenal has been given the green signal to sign Real Madrid’s Isco in this January transfer window.

It is not a secret that Arsene Wenger has been interested in several Real Madrid players such as Ozil, Jese, Isco, Benzema in the past few years. Following the pattern, it is understood that Arsene Wenger would like to have a go at signing another Real Madrid player after Ozil.

Some supporters, however, believe that Isco is not what Arsenal needs right now. The argument being that currently Arsenal has good midfielders in Ramsey, Ozil, Carzola and Wilshere, who can play in similar positions as Isco. The Real Madrid man’s natural position being no. 10 he would have to supplant Mesut Ozil from the team. That may prove to be more difficult than it sounds considering the form Ozil is in. Moreover Isco does not have the defensive abilities that Arsenal currently need with Coquelin injured at for few weeks.

Another cause of concern is that Isco is not going to come cheap. Probably in the range of £30m to £35m. While Arsene Wenger has shown he is willing to open the purse to purchase good players, the question remains if they are willing to spend that much for a position where they seem to be doing very good already.
