Arsenal are looking out to bring in Juventus player Alvaro Morata as a replacement of Danny Welbeck, according to the Mirror.
Welbeck’s injury has led the North London club search for his replacement as he is set to be out of action for nearly nine months. Welbeck ended up leaving the pitch last weekend during the match against Manchester City and since then the player has undergone surgery and will not be playing for at least nine months.
This news has pushed the Gunners into searching for an attacking replacement and seems like they have found Alvaro Morata for the same. However, Real Madrid can activate their buyback clause regarding the player which may see Arsenal jumping ships and moving ahead to sign Inter Milan Ace Mauro Icardi into the club.
Morata has 11 goals and 11 assists to his credit in 45 appearances for Juventus this season.
