After two back to back losses that saw Arsene Wenger’s Arsenal slip into the 4^th place, a late goal from Olivier Giroud spared them some blushes in the previous league game against West Brom. The manager will know that his side are low on confidence at the moment but will hope that their game over Crystal Palace this week will get them back to their best. Palace, who gave Sam Allardyce a point from his first game in charge in the Premier League this season, will be hoping to put in a good shift on the night but playing at the Emirates, they are not expected to take even a point from this game. Arsene Wenger revealed before the game that German defender Shkodran Mustafi is back in training and ready to take the field this weekend while Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is also expected to shake off his recent injury. Winger Theo Walcott has joined the injury list alongside Kieran Gibbs with the duo ruled out for this game alongside Per Mertesacker, Santi Cazorla and Mathieu Debuchy. Danny Welbeck is also back in training but might not play a role in this game.
