Bang For Your Budget – 3 Tottenham Players To Pick In FPL This Week

FPL Tips

After more than 10 days, the English Premier League is back in town this weekend and that means it is FPL time! All the managers from around the world, or at least the wannabes will be back banging their head about their team this weekend and with some close games scheduled, this week of the FPL is expected to be an exciting one. Pochettino’s Tottenham Hotspur side are fresh from a loss at Anfield and will hope to get back to winning ways when they face Mark Hughes’ Stoke side who are slowly climbing up the table. Mauricio Pochettino’s side do not have any more leeway as another negative result can put their place in the top-4 in jeopardy. But the Spurs have often provided some joy to FPL managers and here are three players from the White Hart Lane that ought to be in your team for this weekend (For all budget – from top to bottom):

1. Harry Kane (£11.2):

The top goal scorer for the Spurs, Kane, is a must for most FPL teams, more so this weekend, for many reasons. Playing at home will surely fire him up but more importantly, his record against the Potters is what should get him into your side. In the last two games between the two sides, the Spurs ran away 4-0 winners Kane getting 3 of the 8 goals from both ties. He was not at his best at Anfield but with Zlatan and Alexis unavailable, he might just be the best bet.

2. Dele Alli (£8.8):

Another important player and another obvious choice, Alli, is a slightly cheaper option than Kane, but he might just be as effective. The English midfielder also picked up 3 goals in the last couple of games against Mark Hughes’ side and he will be expected to play a major role if the Spurs are to run away with all three points. He will probably be up against Ryan Shawcross and Bruno Martins Indi and could have a field day at the office. He had an off night at Anfield but is a super option this season.

3. Mousa Dembele (£5.4):

Moussa Dembele

At his price, the Belgian midfielder is a steal. He was the only player who made any kind of an impact in the previous game against Liverpool and he will hope to put in a better performance at the White Hart Lane. Up against the likes of Joe Allen, Charlie Adam and Glen Wheelan, Dembele has his work cut out and will have to be at his best for Spurs to take anything from this game. So barring an upset, Mousa Dembele is another player who ought to be in your FPL team for this weekend.
