Bailly And Rashford To Start – Predicted 4-2-3-1 Manchester United Line-Up To Face Zorya

Share

For most of the game at the Goodison Park at the weekend, Jose Mourinho would have been relatively pleased with the performance of his side that have been struggling to find some winning form. And though Zlatan Ibrahimovic gave them a lead, Leighton Baines equalised late in the game to leave the Red Devils with just a point from the round. The manager will not have too much time to dwell on it as Manchester United need a victory to make sure that they move into the next round of the Europa League tonight. Mourinho’s men take on Zorya as a defeat can leave them to depend on the result of the other game in the group. They are however just a point off the top and a victory might ensure that they finish at the top of the table in the group. With so much at stake, Mourinho is expected to play a fairly strong team for this game and here is the predicted lineup that he might field for this game:

Team News:

Jose Mourinho does not have too many injury problems for this trip to Ukraine with Eric Bailly also back in action. Henrikh Mkhitaryan complained of a hamstring and may be rested while Chris Smalling and Luke Shaw are also close to making a return to the first team.

Formation: 4-2-3-1

Sergio Romero:

The backup goalkeeper has not had much to do this season but he should be given a chance to prove himself in this game against Zorya.

Fosu-Mensah:

With both Valencia and Darmian left at home, the young Dutch is set to play a part in the game. He should prove his worth to the manager and will play an important role.

Eric Bailly:

An unused substitute in the game against Everton, Bailly is back in full training and ready for action and should start this Europa League fixture.

Phil Jones:

Slowly showing some form, the English international can turn out to be an important player for Mourinho this season and he should start this game against Zorya.

Marcos Rojo:

The Argentine has been used regularly by Mourinho in recent games and he might keep his place in the side for this trip to Ukraine.

Ander Herrera:

The Spaniard has been an impact player in recent appearances for Manchester United and he should start in the midfield for the side this week.

Paul Pogba:

The French star is showing some signs of form in the last few games and this would be a perfect game for him to make an impact on his club’s European campaign.

Juan Mata:

Unarguably the best player for United this season, Mata is an automatic starter in important games for Mourinho and will keep his place in the side for this tie.

Wayne Rooney:

The club captain has been superb when used as an impact subs in the Premier League but he is a regular starter in the cup competitions and will start this game against Zorya.

Marcus Rashford:

The youngster has was not in the starting XI at the Goodison Park at the weekend but he has done enough to warrant a start in this Europa League fixture.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic:

Finding his goalscoring form recently, Zlatan was on target in the game at the weekend and should keep his place in the side for this game against Zorya.
