On April 2nd, Barclays Premier League will be kicked off after the international break and Arsenal will be entertaining Quique Sánchez Flores’s side Watford at the Emirates. Arsene Wenger’s side had an optimistic result last time when they defeated Everton by 2 goals to nil at Goodison Park. Now they are looking to move a bit closer to the current leaders Leicester City and any mistake at this very moment can cost Arsenal a lot.

Goalkeeper: PETR CECH-

This Czech professional could make a possible return after suffering a calf injury in the Gunner’s 2-1 defeat to Watford in FA cup’s semi-final. David Ospina replaced Cech in that game but, the Czech star is expected to make his return at the Emirates on 2nd April.

Defenders: Per Mertesacker, Koscielny, Bellerin, Nacho Monreal-

When the last time Arsenal face Watford (In the FA Cup tie) Koscielny was rested for the next champions league game. But as of now, Wenger is trying everything to give Leicester a head-to-head competition and he needs a tight defence who can stop the goal scoring machines like Deeney and Ighalo.

Midfielder: Mesut Ozil, Coquelin, Alexis Sanchez, Iwobi , Elneny-

Having a strong midfield in the teams always supports the front line. And the players like Ozil, Sanchez and Walcott can surely supply some serious dead-balls to Giroud. Iwobi was given a chance when the team faced Everton in the last Premier League fixture and he proved what he is capable right away. Though Theo Walcott is available for Arsene Wenger, everyone knows that the Frenchman loves to give young players their chance. On the other hand, Coquelin can form a good partnership with Elneny in the game against Watford.

Striker: Olivier Giroud-

An only available ‘Pure Striker’ for Arsene Wenger who can finish the ball in style as it is delivered. A pure hitter of the ball must start for the Arsenal’s side against Watford.
