The Gunners received a small boost of confidence after their 5-0 victory over Lincoln City in the FA Cup and will be hoping to put on another good performance when they visit the Hawthorns on Saturday. Arsenal have been inconsistent with their performances and will look to begin a run of good games to have any hope of finishing in the top-4 and more importantly, finishing above Tottenham Hotspur.
After Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain was taken off during the game against Lincoln, he is still a doubt for the trip and the magical Mesut Ozil should take his place in the starting eleven. Alexis Sanchez will hope to extend his goal-scoring run and help his side achieve a top 4 finish by the end of the season. This means that Olivier Giroud could start on the bench. However, Santi Cazorla, Mohammed Elneny and Danny Welbeck are all still unavailable for the West Brom game.
Tony Pulis’ side are on the back of two consecutive losses and will be looking to turn things around when they face Arsene Wenger’s Arsenal. It may not be an easy task but it cannot be ruled out given Arsenal’s poor run of form in the recent weeks.
The veteran goalkeeper will be between the sticks for Arsenal. Cech returned to action against Lincoln and kept a clean sheet.
Put on a good show against Lincoln and his pace helped him to cover the ground quickly when getting back to defend.
Has done well with Koscielny at the back except when Bayern ran riot against Arsenal. Was solid against Lincoln and kept out the threats. Should start again alongside Kos.
Has been the backbone of the squad, leading from the back. His departures off the field against Bayern in both the legs caused chaos at the heart of the defence. He is now available and will be looking to captain his side and keep out the threat of Rondon.
Has gone about his work quietly throughout the season. Did well against Robben when they played Bayern and was given a rest against Lincoln. Should be starting at his usual left-back position.
The Swiss midfielder will be sitting in front of the back line, looking to control the game and keep Arsenal ticking. Has done well overall but has lacked discipline.
The Welsh midfielder has been lively and energetic in the centre of the pitch pairing up with Xhaka, made good forward runs and should continue to do so against West Brom.
Has been scoring regularly for his side of late and got a goal against Bayern and the opener against Lincoln. Should start out wide on the right.
The German playmaker has been poor of late but claimed an assist in the Lincoln game, Arsenal fans will be hoping he puts on a good show at the Hawthorns.
The youngster has linked up well with the other attackers in his side recently and should be given an outing with Chamberlain out injured. However, he will have to do well to make sure he retains his spot.
Arsenal’s best player without a shadow of a doubt, top scorer and fans will be eager he signs a new contract soon. His skill and trickery should be a joy to watch if he is in form, which is currently the case.
