Arsene Wenger is now the longest serving manager in the premier league after Sir Alex Ferguson retired from football last season. Even though Wenger’s era was considered as the golden era for the Gunners, there were still some question marks about his future at Emirates. Wenger was constantly criticized for the club’s trophy less run (8 years) and also for his transfer policy.
In a recent interview, Wenger hinted that a new contract has been offered to him by the club management. When a reporter questioned about it, Wenger replied,
“Yes, I didn’t deny that (contract)”
“I just said what I said at the start of the season and nothing has changed.”
