Arsenal Transfers: Ba Out! Henry In!

Share

Arsenal always get linked with so many players in any transfer window. Now they were linked with Zaha, Demba Ba, Adrian Lopez, Arda Turan and many others. Arsenal may also sign Thierry Henry on loan for the second time in two years.

Arsene Wenger ruled out any possibilities of signing Newcastle United’s target man Demba Ba. He also hinted that Henry may play again in red and white shirt this January.

Wenger rules out Demba Ba move

Wenger said,

“I like Demba Ba, yes, I don’t think this is the right time to speak about that, because we play against him tomorrow. If you ask me, ‘Do we sign Demba Ba?’ I say no.”

When asked about Henry’s possible return Wenger commented,

“I’ve not lost interest in him,”

“I’ve not completely ruled it out. But I haven’t spoken about this with him”

“He’s still coming today to practice with us and he is very close to this club, but at the moment I think he has had a second spell at the club that was very successful. You have to be cautious that it’s not one time too many.”
