Arsene Wenger will closely monitor Montpellier defender Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa during their champions league clash this midweek.
Mbiwa to join ArsenalThe Sun reported that Wenger already tried to sign Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa during summer but the French club rejected the deal since they have already lost Olivier Giroud to Arsenal.
He is right now is in last year of his contract which will expire next summer. It is also reported that Mbiwa will be allowed to talk with Arsenal during January and will most likely join the North London club for free next season.
