Arsenal player Alexis Sanchez is set to be out of action for four weeks, having suffered from a low grade muscle tear. The player was sent for tests on muscle pain, which came to be a torn calf muscle, during training with Chile national team. The former Barca star left training with Chile due to pains in his muscle.

The Chile National Team official website confirmed the news (cited by Evening Standard) stating that player has suffered a low grade muscle tear.

The press release claims that he will take at least four weeks to recover from the same. Further, Chamberlain may be the one to replace the player and most probably start against United and Paris Saint Germain.

However, several other reports claim that Sanchez will be playing against Uruguay next Wednesday, the player is sure to miss Manchester United clash.

Arsenal fans took to Twitter to react on the shocking news;

However, latest reports from the Sun, confirm that the Arsenal star is not badly injured as initially feared. He is all set to feature against Manchester United post the International break. After the injury scare, the Gunners have urged the Chilean National team to send the winger back to London as he could aggravate his calf if he plays in the World Cup qualifier against Uruguay next week.
