Arsenal Players Will Get You Points, Avoid Manchester United Stars – Fantasy Premier League Tips (Gameweek 34)

Share

For the first time in a really long time we have a Fantasy Premier League gameweek where we have some teams having double gameweeks while some teams not having a gameweek at all. Again this is one gameweek which will separate the really serious players from the novice ones and at the business end of the season the Fantasy Premier League players need to put their best foot forward. However it is not just selecting the double gameweek players and avoiding the teams without any fixtures as multiple transfers with a points hit at this stage of the season may well turn out to be counterproductive. Here are 3 tips you can use before picking your team or doing transfers,

1. Scout the Double Gameweek teams properly:

Yaya Toure

With four teams, i.e, Cystal Palace, Everton, Manchester City and Sunderland, having double gameweeks it is important to scout the players properly as at the business end of the season choosing the right players from these teams might very well give a Fantasy Premier League player the edge over his rivals. We at Soccersouls would suggest giving Sergio Aguero a go as he is almost at the cusp of full fitness and as he is really fresh at the moment Sergio Aguero would be the perfect striker going into this double gameweek. Some other good choices at the moment might be Samir Nasri, Adam Johnson (he has again been brought back into the starting line up), Romelu Lukaku and Jason Puncheon. Choose right and reap the rewards.

2. Drop Hull City and Manchester United players:

With both Hull City and Manchester United facing a blank gameweek the conventional wisdom here is to drop players from both these teams in favour of a team having a double gameweek. However you might want to choose carefully which player you want to dump as it might not be a very good idea to transfer out Wayne Rooney or as a matter of fact any of the Hull defenders given how productive they have been. However if you are trailing and need to catch up this week is as good as any to have a punt by filling up the team with double gameweek players.

3. Manchester City and Arsenal players are a must have from this Gameweek onwards:

Manchester City and Arsenal have an amazing run of games and of all the Premier League sides they face the easiest run in. The next five fixtures of Manchester City are Sunderland, Liverpool, West Brom, Crystal Palace, Everton, Aston Villa and West Ham United. The potentiality for points here is huge and only the Liverpool and the Everton games are away. Add to that the fact that this gameweek is a double gameweek for City and the pot could not be sweeter for Fantasy Premier League players. Also while Arsenal players might not have the best of forms right now their run of fixtures is insanely easy to finish with. Facing West Ham United, Hull City, Newcastle United, West Brom and Norwich at the end it’s an easy bet that the gunners will go all out to secure the fourth place which means that with the right Arsenal player in the team might make all the difference in the world.
