Arsenal Injury Update

During yesterday’s pre-match press conference, Arsene Wenger expressed his doubts over the participation of Tomas Rosicky, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Kieran Gibbs in FA cup Semi-final against Wigan at Wembley.

Despite that, all three above mentioned stars participated in today’s team training and are expected to be a part of the team that travels to the magnificent Wembley stadium on Saturday.

Here are  the training pictures,

This is indeed a good news for the gunners who will be desperate to end their trophy-less run with a FA cup victory this season. But, Arsenal will still miss important players including  Mesut Ozil, Jack Wilshere, Laurent Koscielny and Theo Walcott for the big game.

Meanwhile, Arsenal star Tomas Rosicky believes that winning the FA cup could spark a new Era at Arsenal.

He said,

“It would be a big lift for everyone because you still have a lot of players here who don’t know how it feels to win a trophy,”

“Mainly the guys who are coming through like Jack, Aaron and all these boys. They don’t know how success tastes, so it is a massive chance for us to win a trophy this year.”

“It would be a building block for these boys.”

“We would love to have everyone back – we don’t have Mesut, Jack Wilshere or Theo Walcott,”

“On the other side it’s not about personnel only, because Mesut and Jack played when we lost at Manchester City and Liverpool so it’s not like we missed one or two guys and we’re not competitive any more.

“It’s about the mistakes which we are making as a team and not single players who are not available at the moment. Of course we would love to have them back, there’s no doubt about that.”
