Arsenal Fans Start Mocking Chelsea On Twitter Following Injury To Belgian International

If you are a Chelsea fan and you thought that things couldn’t get any worse, think again. After a really poor start to the season, things have now gone from bad to worse. Belgian international Thibaut Courtois, the wall between the opposition attacks and the Blues’ goal, who helped them secure some important points last term, is now set to be sidelined for a major part of the current season. Reports have confirmed that the 23 year old superstar had surgery on a knee injury this week.

The former Atletico Madrid star, who was superb in the previous campaign, could now be out for a period of at least two months, with some other media outlets suggesting it might even take him four months to recover.

Not a good thing, after selling Petr Cech to north London rivals Arsenal in the recently concluded transfer window.

The news has delighted the Gooners more than anything, who were overjoyed to see manager Jose Mourinho suffer this misery, as Chelsea look to defend their Premier League title.
