Arsenal Fan Piers Morgan Tries A Cheeky Plot On Chelsea Skipper, Check Out What He Replied For That

Share

In a recent interview, Chelsea skipper John Terry has revealed that he has no desire to follow Petr Cech to the club’s London rivals Arsenal any time in the future. The claims were reported by Piers Morgan, who is the journalist, broadcaster and a fanatical Gooner. It seems that Morgan asked the former England skipper if he was planning to move to the Emirates someday, after a difficult few weeks at Stamford Bridge in recent times.

The 34 year old center-back was replaced at half-time in the 3-0 loss to current league leaders Manchester City at the Etihad last month.

Also, he was suspended for the clash against Crystal Palace which the Blues lost 2-1, after being sent off against West Brom six days earlier.

Clear signs that the former England international is approaching the end of his career at Stamford Bridge now.

The defensive superstar is still engaged in a battle to win back his first team spot in Jose Mourinho’s starting eleven, yet told Piers Morgan, as per a magazine screenshot obtained by 101 Great Goals, that he has to play for any other Premier League club.

Morgan apparently asked Terry, “Now Jose doesn’t love you any more, how about a switch to Arsenal?”

Terry grinned and responded, “Nice try…”

Morgan emphasized, “I’m serious. We’ve got your old mate Petr Cech in goal, so you’d be amongst friends.”

Terry shook his head and clearly stated, “I couldn’t do that. I could never play for any Premier League club other than Chelsea.”

Morgan, further spoke about the moment when Mourinho subbed Terry at half-time against the Manchester outfit and asked, “Not even with your manager chucking you under the bus?”

To which Terry replied, “Jose’s the best manager I’ve ever had. I’d chuck myself under a bus for him.”
