Former Juventus manager Antonio Conte has been on the news for some time now with regards to a move to Chelsea. According to the reports from the English media Conte’s move to the Stamford Bridge is now a done deal and will be finalizing the move by the end of next week.
Chelsea made their move fast and smart with regards to securing the services of the manager. Conte will be replacing interim manager Guus Hiddink who will retire from managing once the season ends.
Conte will be earning around £14.25m (£100,000 per week) during his three year contract with the Blues. The Italian manager will be a good addition at the Stamford Bridge as after a tough season altogether there will be someone who can rebuild the Blues and get them back into the run for the title, although manager Guus Hiddink stepping into Mourinho’s shoes too paid well for the club since.
