Arsenal gave a good account of their title credentials on Saturday evening against West Ham at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Stadium in a 5-1 thrilling victory.
Sanchez unselfishly chose to assist Ozil for the opener in the early minutes of the game after Ogbonna and Reid had produced some horrible defending.
The 1st half finished with Arsenal ahead, but it was in the 2nd that things got worse for the hosts, as a 14-minute Sanchez hat-trick and Chamberlain’s wonder strike did the damage.
Carroll’s consolation goal from a rebound after a Payet free kick that left Cech glued to his feet struck the bar counted for nothing, and with the result, the Gunners moved to within touching distance of league leaders Chelsea.
Here is a breakdown of how the Gunners fared.
Doesn’t seem he would be keeping many clean sheets this season as opponents just always finds him out.
Made some decent saves, though.
Rating : 8/10
Not the best right-back there is but still gave a decent effort in the role, and stayed on his feet despite the knocks et al.
Rating : 7/10
Laid a pass for Sanchez’s 1st and was steel hard at the back to nullify the threat of Fletcher.
Rating : 7/10
Never an average performance from the skipper who once again put in a solid display to keep the Hammers attack at bay.
Took one for the team too.

Constantly appeared in the front, and laid a couple of passes into the opposition box, but his teammates didn’t get any in. Should have had at least 2 assists.
Had very little to do at the back.
Rating : 7/10
A better showing from the midfielder, even though he got unnecessarily booked.
His brilliant interception in West Ham’s half gave Sanchez the chance to get through on goal and square play Ozil.
Rating : 7/10
Beginning to look like the real Swiss Arsenal signed and put in a lot of work in the heart of the defence for the Gunners.
Able to make Carzola’s miss less felt?
Rating : 7/10
Uninspiring from the winger.
Squandered 2 chances and was replaced with Ramsey in the closing minutes. Just off form.
Rating : 6/10
Not his best day and was somehow less influential after popping up to open the goal. Almost quite all 2nd half.
Rating : 7/10
Struck a beautiful curve from outside the box to beat Randolph after a poor 1st half.
He still hasn’t done much to stake a claim on a permanent jersey, though.
Rating : 8/10
11 goals and 4 assists.
His hat-trick came within a quarter of an hour as he made light of West Ham backline. Beginning to look like the perfect number 9 Arsenal have sought since RVP’s departure, as his goals were 5-star.
Again. A big reason Arsenal can win this title.
Rating : 10/10
Came on as a 65th-minute sub but was pedestrian.

Made a very late cameo off the bench and couldn’t make any contribution.
Rating : Unavailable
Spent very little on the pitch to make any impact.
