Alexander Buttner Speaks About His Debut

Alexander Buttner gave a man of the match performance on his Manchester United debut. Manchester United won the match 4-0.

“If I play I want the manager to see what I can do in the pitch. Today I did exactly that.

“It’s great that I scored on my debut. It’s a dream come true for me.”

“I was bit nervous about the game. I think it’s normal to be a little bit nervous if you play in front of so many people.

“To play my first minutes at old trafford was special and I’ll never forget it”

Meanwhile Manchester United boss Alex Ferguson also praised Buttner,

“Some of Büttner’s play was good but I think he was a little bit rash at times,”

“He has a great engine and great enthusiasm in him and can be a really good addition to the team.”
