Egyptian international Mohamed Salah managed to score once again at the weekend for Serie A giants AS Roma against their league rivals and his former club Fiorentina. The 23-year-old superstar’s relationship with his previous loan club did not end on the best of terms, as the Florence club initiated legal action, which could see Salah banned from playing football for a short period.
The Italian outfit were unhappy about a transfer agreement that they thought they had with the Blues wasn’t honoured. The attacker thought he would make more money elsewhere and left and things were a total mess in the summer transfer window.
Chelsea then loaned Salah to Roma instead, which was eventually made into a permanent deal. Ramy Abbas, his agent was quoted by Calciomercato as saying, “Mohamed will never be disqualified and not only I say this, but also anyone who has ever worked on his case. The leaders want to harass, they want to punish an innocent 23-year-old for refusing their offer. Yesterday you saw the result of their actions.“
