Predicted Hull City Line-up To Face Cardiff City In The EFL Championship

Hull have done excellently over the last month, and find themselves safe in the Championship after a decent run of results including a thrilling 5-5 draw against Bristol City in their last game.

They come up against a Cardiff team that will be hurting after the mid-week loss to Derby and will be seeking a win to keep them in 2nd place in the table.

Probable Hull City XI

Manager: Nigel Adkins

Formation: 4-2-3-1

Allan McGregor (GK)

The 36-year-old goalkeeper has agreed to move to Rangers at the end of the season. He will be missed by Hull even though he has not had the best of seasons for the Tigers.

Stephen Kingsley (LB)

It was a game of attackers rather than defenders in the 5-5 draw vs Bristol and Kingsley did not have the best of games. He didn’t do enough to prevent attacks from coming down the left-hand side.

Angus MacDonald (CB)

The 25-year-old centre-back had a torrid game against Bristol City but has had a decent season overall. Hopefully, he’ll bounce back from his mistakes.

Michael Dawson

Michael Dawson (CB)

Dawson looked the best of a bad bunch at the back on Saturday and the experienced defender will be hoping to improve and show that he can still play at the top level.

Ola Aina (RB)

Aina had a terrible game against Bristol City and didn’t make a single successful tackle. Will be hoping to put in an improved performance.

Markus Henriksen (CM)

Henriksen is an enforcer in the middle of the park. He puts in strong tackles and wins possession back for his team well.

Jackson Irvine

Sebastian Larsson (CM)

The experienced central midfielder did not have a good game against Bristol City at all but has played long enough to know that the best thing to do is pick yourself up and go again.

Harry Wilson (AML)

Wilson had an excellent game against Bristol City and got himself on the scoresheet twice! He looked a threat, running at the opposition defence.

Jackson Irvine (AMC)

The attacking midfielder has two goals and six assists in 27 appearances this season, which is not a terrible record. However, he will be looking to add a few more in these last two games.

Kamil Grosicki

Kamil Grosicki (AMR)

Came off the bench in the previous game and grabbed an assist for his team. He is always an attacking threat down the right-hand side.

Fraizer Campbell (ST)

Had a great game against Bristol City and deserves to keep his place in the team. Scored a good goal and his manager will be hoping he keeps it up.
