Tottenham’s Dream XI With Richarlison And Rabiot In The Team – Here’s How It Could Be

Tottenham Hotspur are surely a club on the rise as they have established themselves as a European powerhouse in recent times. They have provided the world of football with an exciting style of play and Mauricio Pochettino cannot have too many complaints about the squad he has at his disposal. They are yet to win any silverware under the Argentine manager, who is now looking to add a few players to his squad to help them maintain their consistency.

So it does not come as a surprise that the club is linked with a number of star players, who might end up joining the club come January. Watford’s newbie Richarlison seems to have caught the eye of the manager recently and might be heading to London at the end of the season but with a chance of winning something seemingly in front of them, Spurs might look to sign him up mid-way through the season too.

They have also been linked with a number of exciting players, who they might move for in January and one player they should definitely look to sign is PSG misfit Adrien Rabiot. The French international recently revealed that he is open to a move to the Premier League and is wanted by a number of clubs in the country. But Spurs should do all they can to snap him up and here is how they might look after January if they are able to sign both the players:

Tottenham Dream XI

Expected Lineup: 4-2-3-1

Defence

French star Hugo Lloris should keep his place in goal while Toby Alderweireld and Jan Vertonghen should remain the first choice centre-back partnership at the club for the rest of the season. Serge Aurier and Kieran Trippier are expected to fight for the right-back spot while Danny Rose, who might quit the club at the end of the season, could be preferred over Ben Davies on the other flank.

Richarlison

Midfield

This is where Pochettino needs a slight improvement on his current options. Young Harry Winks, Victor Wanyma and English midfielder Eric Dier are decent options alongside Mousa Dembele, who should be the first choice midfielder for the club.

The Belgian ace is one of the best in that position and should retain his place while Wanyama, Dier and Winks might lose their spots to Rabiot, the PSG man, who could end up in London in January. This midfield has the perfect blend of youth and experience, adding stability and creativity to the side.

Attack

Harry Kane, who is wanted by the best clubs in Europe, will remain until the end of the season and should lead the line for his side, in every game possible. Youngster Dele Alli and Danish hero Christian Eriksen remain Pochettino’s trusted attackers and should keep their spots in the starting XI.

Adrien Rabiot

Richarlison, who has been effective on left flank for his current club Watford, is expected to start on the left-hand side of the attack if Pochettino is able to sign him up in January. The likes of Heung Min-Son, Moussa Sissoko and Fernando Llorente would all be options from the bench.

Here is how Spurs’ dream lineup might look like if they are able to sign both Rabiot and Richarlison in January:
