It may look easy watching it from a television or shouting it out from a bar, but when it comes to one on ones with the keeper or an open goal, even the best in the business tend to get nervous. Maxi Rodriguez did not do justice to his captain’s cross as he was just 2 yards and an empty goal post away from a Liverpool goal.

Not much of an known player or a match that most of us care, but i took this video into the list because of the timing of the miss. The scoreline was 0-0 and it was the start of the Extra time when the forward decides to do this.

It was for this miss by Gervinho that i decided to compile this list. Arsenal lost out to a league two side Bradford City thanks to the poor strike force they have.
