5 Super Young Talents To Look Forward In Premier League Including 2 Manchester United Stars

Share

With the new season of the English Premier League set to begin, the fans of the clubs are excited about the new players who would join the teams and make the league more interesting. But another thing to watch out for each season are the new players who come into the league from the youth sections of their respective clubs. We take a look at five such players who could make a name for themselves in the coming term with their talent and their on field show.

1. Diego Poyet

He is a well known youngster, much because of his father Gus Poyet, who has been a top player in the EPL for a number of years. He has played for Charlton Athletic for sometime now and last season he made 20 appearances for the first team. Primarily a central midfielder, who can also couple as a defensive midfielder, he has many attributes for a top player in his position. He is blessed with an impressive passing range and his tackles are smooth for a 19 year old. He recently joined West Ham and many eyes will be on him to review his performance for the London club.

2. James Wilson

He is one player many Manchester United fans would watch keenly. He has already made his debut for United and scored a brace against Hull in the last game of the season for United the previous season. He is a talented player with the ability to shine in any of the front three places and his movements are sharp and clever, enough to deceive the defenders. He is slightly built and needs to put on weight to compete in the Premier League, the world’s most physical league, but he has the ability to be a hero for the club in the future.

3. Danny Ings

The 21 years old would be tasting the Premier League glory this season as his side Burnley have qualified for the top flight English division. The England U 21 player has been a regular first team player for his club since 2011 and has so far played 87 matches, scoring 27 times in the process. A Southampton reject in his earlier days, the same side wants him back now to replace Lambert, but he is all set to show his mettle for Burnley and impress everyone.

4. Liam Moore

He is primarily a centre back, but can also operate as a right back and for his side Leicester City he is asked to fill up that role often. The 21 year old  is one of the most talented players to have come out of Leicester’s academy in recent years and even though there is interest from many clubs, he has committed his future to Leicester. Stepping into the Premier League is a huge moment for Moore and this season can make or break his career.

5. Andreas Pereira

He was brought into the side in 2012 from the PSV youth academy and since then he has been the topic of discussions in the United circles. He has done enough for the youth sides, especially in UEFA Youth League to make van Gaal give a thought about him and nobody will be surprised to see him play a fair share of matches for the first team.
