Thus he was loaned out to Cardiff City to try and save them from relegation. It would not be surprising if he comes back next year to do better.

On loan Arsenal striker Campbell has done enough for his current club Olympiacos this season to make a mark and be in contention for the striker’s position in Arsenal next season. He is not first team material as yet, but an occasional appearance in the Premier League would not harm. However, West Brom manager Pepe Mel is keen to bring the youngster to England, which might be helpful for the Gunners as Joel would get the experience of playing in Premier League.
Pepe Mel has previously worked with Campbell when the striker was on loan at Real Betis last season and knows about his quality. With Campbell set to play in the World Cup with Costa Rica, it can only get better for him and playing in the World cup would mean that he can get his work permit to play in England finally.
Liverpool loaned out the midfielder to Almeria after failing to give him regular games. He has since been a revelation in Spain and many are questioning the need of another big money signing with Suso coming back to Merseyside. With Suarez, Sturridge and Sterling, he is expected to make an effective partnership next season and shine in his role.
