4-2-3-1: This Tottenham Line Up Could Continue Their Unbeaten Streak Against Bournemouth In The Weekend

Share

Tottenham Hotspur were on a high after their victory over Manchester City a couple of weeks ago but they were brought down to the ground last weekend when Tony Pulis’ West Brom managed to hold them to a 1-1 draw at the Hawthorns. The manager will expect a better display  from his men, especially after they managed only a draw in the Champions League in the midweek but they will up against a gritty Bournemouth side who have been hard to beat at home.

Here is the predicted lineup that Pochettino might field for his team’s trip to the Dean Court this weekend:

Team News:

The manager might miss the services of Danny Rose who picked up an injury in the game against Leverkusen while Toby Alderweireld, who missed that game, will not be risked for this fixture. Harry Kane still remains sidelined while Kyle Walker is expected to be back in action this weekend so will Mousa Dembele.

Hugo Lloris:

The undisputed number 1 for Pochettino this season, Lloris has been superb this season in between the sticks and should keep his place in the side for this game.

Kyle Walker:

Having been rested for the Champions League encounter, Walker should be back in the side for this game on the wing for the Spurs.

Jan Vertonghen:

One of the most consistent players for the Spurs recently, Vertonghen was impressive in the midweek game against Leverkusen and should keep his place in the side.

Eric Dier:

Alderweireld’s absence from the squad saw Eric Dier put in an impressive shift at the back in the Champions League and he will keep his place at the back for his side for this game against the Cherries.

Ben Davis:

Injury to Danny Rose will hand Davis another chance to prove himself at the back for the Spurs as he tries to impress the manager at White Hart Lane.

Mousa Dembele:

The midfielder is finally back fit for Spurs and will be one of the first names on the team-sheet for the side for this game against Bournemouth.

Victor Wanyama:

The former Southampton man has been excellent so far this season for Spurs and he should keep his place in the midfield for this trip to the Vitality stadium.

Christian Eriksen:

The Dane has not been at his best so far this season but is still one of the most influential players for the side. He should start this game for Spurs at the weekend.

Dele Alli:

The England international has been sublime this season for his side and he should keep his place in the side in an advanced role for this game.

Moussa Sissoko:

The former Newcastle man has adjusted to his life at the Lane with ease and should start this game on the wing for the Spurs.

Heung-Min Son:

The South Korean international has taken over the mantle of scoring goals from Harry Kane after his injury and will start this game in an advanced position for his side.
