3 Strikers Who Might Leave EPL In Summer Including Arsenal And Manchester United Stars

While the Premier League fan following can expect to welcome a vast influx of big names, there are however some names who could well say their goodbye to top tier of English Football. So today we here at Soccersouls decided to provide our readers with three strikers which might be on their way out of England come this summer.

Lukas Podolski:

Podolski with some sprinting

Greater things was expected of the German when he joined the Gunners but with the due course of time, his game play and performances on the pitch have looked pedestrian and probably not suiting Arsenal’s style of play. Now as major tabloids claim, Podolski might by used as a bait by Arsene Wenger to bring long term target Julian Draxler from Schalke cone this summer. Schalke might be happy enough with such a deal getting a player who has vast experience in the Bundesliga but it surely will bring a premature end to Podolski’s career at the Emirates.

Robin Van Persie:

RVP

The big question for David Moyes remains to be answered. Is Dutchman Robin Van Persie on his way out of Old Trafford this summer? As major tabloids claim, Van Persie might not be a United player after this season but a fancy reunion with Arsenal looks very unlikely. If so, a move to Italy or Spain looks to be on the cards as Manchester United surely will not sell to a direct rival in the league.

Edin Dzeko:

The Bosnian has failed to muster up a starting eleven spot for Manchester City and by the scheme of things, the so called super sub might be on his way out of Etihad come this summer. Pellegrini has opted for Aguero and Negredo as first choices for his team but might wait till the World Cup ends, where Dzeko will lead the line for his country, and a good showing at Brazil might increase his worth in this already inflated transfer market. His all round ability and lethal finishing will attract a lot of potential suitors and Germany’s Borussia Dortmund looks the most probable destination. Jurgen Klopp’s side is set to lose his main striker, Polish Robert Lewandowski to Bayern Munich and in Dzeko he will find a similar player with prior experience of the rough and tough Bundesliga.
