Three strikers Who Could be Signed by Tottenham to Partner Harry Kane

Harry Kane

Tottenham started the season without a fit and firing Harry Kane, but the Englishman found his mojo and has been banging the goals in for fun, but the goals have dried up again as Spurs have only scored twice in their last three games.

While Kane has scored 10 goals this season, the other goals have come from Erik Lamela and Dele Alli. The likes of Son and N’jie, who were signed at the start of the season haven’t featured as much this season.

With Tottenham heavily reliant on Kane, they should also think about the time when Kane starts firing blanks or gets injured, we look at three strikers who could be signed by Tottenham either to partner Kane or play when he is out of action.

Charlie Austin

The 28-year-old certainly knows where the back of the net is and was a bit of surprise that he wasn’t signed by any of the Premier League clubs at the end of last season when QPR were relegated. The English striker can score goals from all over the park and even though his mobility has been questioned, no one can doubt his goal scoring prowess. Austin will be out of a contract next season and could well make a cut-price move to Tottenham, who need cover. Austin already has 8 goals in 13 matches for QPR this season and could well be banging the goals in for Tottenham from January.

Saido Berahino

The craziest stand-off this season, apart from the Raheem Sterling issue, Saido Berahino was to become a Spurs player in the summer but for some last minute madness, he stayed at West Brom and refused to play for the club. Well that didn’t take long to fix and he has returned for West Brom and has twice in 10 games but he could well work in tandem with Harry Kane. Both are young and full of hunger and could well form one of the best partnerships in England for years to come.

Jamie Vardy

Well, why not? The Leicester forward does play in a similar fashion to Kane and has been scoring goals for fun. The Foxes might not want to sell him at the moment, but he could be available at the end of the season. Leicester might just end up ahead of Tottenham based on this season, but Pochettino could well get his man if he wants to. Kane and Vardy would be an amazing partnership, both players love to work their socks off and they know how to find the back of the net. Let’s just see how these things go.
