3 Sneaky Deals Arsene Wenger Can Mastermind For Arsenal Before The Deadline Day

Arsenal are having a good old fashioned tug of war in the transfer window and some of their big targets don’t seem set to join the club in the summer. The Gunners have been frustrated in their attempts to sign players such as Alexandre Lacazette and Shkodran Mustafi, while other targets have decided to join other teams, Renato Sanches being one of them.

The London club still have a few days before the end of the transfer window season and they could still get a few deals done to increase the strength of their team for another tough season. Here are three players who could sneak up as Arsenal signings come the end of the window.

Lorenzo Insigne

One of the players who is constantly linked with a move away from Naples, Lorenzo Insigne could be the man to turn Arsenal’s fortunes around in the attacking department. The 25-year-old Italian is one of the best wingers in the world and the Neapolitan could move to Arsenal pretty soon.

The Gunners are now playing Alexis Sanchez as the striker in place of Olivier Giroud and they do not have enough quality out wide. Insigne can play out wide but he can also play centrally, thus giving a lot of options for his deployment in the team. Insigne is quick on the ball and has a great passing ability, and seems to be a perfect signing for Arsenal if only they can pry him away from Italy.

Simon Kjaer

While Arsenal have been frustrated in their attempts to sign Mustafi and Jonny Evans, the Dane could be a cheaper option for the team looking to bolster their defence. While Rob Holding and Calum Chambers do not have a lot of experience, the 27-year-old defender from Fenerbahce would be a perfect replacement for Per Mertesacker.

Kjaer might be very inconsistent but that does not mean he cannot step it up when it is needed. He could also get better if he plays alongside Laurent Koscielny and the fact that the Dane would cost around £12 million that is a steal in this transfer window.

Marcel Tisserand

A surprise name being linked with a move to the Gunners is the 23-year-old defender Marcel Tisserand. The Congolese footballer is part of the Monaco side and was born in France, so he would be a perfect signing in the team in terms of the language at least.

He is being touted as the replacement signing in case Arsenal do not get Mustafi from Valencia. Tisserand started his footballing in the Monaco B side but spent last season on loan a Toulouse and did a wonderful job in the heart of the defence and he would be a bargain signing compared to the prices being quoted for the likes of Jose Gimenez of Atletico Madrid and Shkodran Mustafi.
