However, finding a spot for those players in the squads isn’t always an easy task, at least in the middle of the season, but making a move at them would still make a lot of sense considering how many games those teams play during the season in England, the country with most midweeks matches across Europe.

And a guy that’s been on several teams radar since the start of the season but hasn’t been able to solve his situation just yet, is Paris Saint Germain’s Marco Verratti, one of the most talented midfielders in the world that hasn’t been able to take that next step into football elite and has his agent has now insisted that “he will not stay at PSG.”

So, several teams including European giants like Juventus, Real Madrid and Chelsea had shown great interest in acquiring Verratti’s services, as the 24-year-old is yet to reach his prime and is one of the most interesting prospects nowadays, and it’s very likely that he winds up leaving the club during this transfer period.

However, the club that we believe would be better off making a run at Marco would be Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United and we’ll tell you the 3 main reasons why.

Carrick’s Age

Michael Carrick has proven to be the answer to Mourinho’s woes over the course of the season, and his team is undefeated when the veteran midfielder plays for the Red Devils alongside Ander Herrera and Paul Pogba.

The Red Devils are planning to let both Morgan Schneiderlin and Bastian Schweinsteiger go, while Marouane Fellaini has been a complete trainwreck and could also be on his way out of Old Trafford, leaving Manchester United really shorthanded in the centre of the field.
