3 Reasons Why Alexis Sanchez Should Snub Juventus And Stay With Arsenal

Share

It’s always a shame when either a guy doesn’t appreciate the love and potential he has where he is right now, or when a club shows disrespect to one of their biggest stars and make him leave the premises of the club.

And now, it seems like we are on the verge of witnessing yet another chapter in Arsenal’s problematic history, as there have been several reports that they’re going to lose their biggest star.

The never ending story with Alexis Sanchez just keeps getting longer and longer, as the Chilean forward is once again in the headlines due to his reported desire to get a hike in his already studded contract with the Gunners.

Alexis has been linked with several clubs over the course of the season, mainly with the Italian giant Juventus, who are reportedly keen to make a huge bid for the Chilean standout during the next summer.

Nevertheless, we can’t help but to think that Alexis needs Arsenal as much as the Gunners need him, and making a move out of the Emirates Stadium could be the biggest mistake of his career, and we’ll tell you the three main reasons why he shouldn’t leave Arsenal at this point.

He won’t be the main guy elsewhere

There’s absolutely no doubt about Alexis Sanchez’ talent, ability and impact on the pitch. Nevertheless, the 28-year-old is used as the go-to guy for the Gunners offence, as well as the main star of the team both on and off the field.

Alexis thrives while being the center of attention and stealing all of the headlines, and even if he’s going to be a major force wherever he decides to go, it’s very likely that he plays more in a supporting role for another guy than having the offensive flow of the game planned through him.

He’s at the peak of his career

Alexis is having an outstanding season, achieving double digits goals and assists over the first half of the year (17 scores and 10 assists) and he’s definitely having the best year of his career both in numbers and in performances.

Nevertheless, he’s not getting any younger and even if he’s one of the elite players in the world right now, it’s very unlikely that he can keep this pace up elsewhere while he tries to adapt to a different type of gameplay.

He has the chance to become a legend

Nowadays, Arsenal have one of the most balanced squads in the world and even if they seem to fall short on the big moments, with a couple of key additions, this team could finally achieve a title for the first time in years, with Alexis at the top of the squad.

The Chilean forward has the chance to leave his mark on the books of Arsenal’s history and become a Gunner’s legend if he decides to stay and lead them all the way to a title alongside Mesut Ozil and Arsene Wenger.
