3 Quality players who could massively strengthen West Brom in January including Leicester City star

Three players West Bromwich Albion must sign in January

West Brom are going very strong in the Championship at the moment. After picking up 20 points in 10 games, West Brom have been the early pacesetters in the Championship, thanks to their recent run of four wins in five matches.

Darren Moore failed to prevent the Baggies from getting relegated from the Premier League but the club is doing well now and is in a better shape at the moment.

There is a long way to go this season, but West Brom do look solid. However, the squad isn’t complete by any chance and there are still loopholes that need to be fixed; weaknesses that need ironing out.

That being said, here are three players Moore must sign in January to complete his West Brom squad.

Jordon Ibe (Bournemouth)

Moore will definitely be aiming to guide the Baggies swiftly back into the Premier League. He could take a look at Bournemouth forward Jordon Ibe to bolster his attacking options in January.

Ibe, 22, made the move to the Vitality stadium in 2016 but has not been able to nail down a regular role in the team. Ibe has played just four times in all competitions for Bournemouth this season and West Brom should look to get him on loan once the transfer window reopens.

Ibe is a talented player, capable of playing anywhere across the frontline. A player blessed with explosive pace and top dribbling skills, the 22-year-old would be a smart loan signing for the Baggies.

Bradley Dack (Blackburn Rovers)

Bradley Dack has made a brilliant start to life in the Championship, having scored four goals and registering an assist so far for Blackburn Rovers.

Dack has proven to be a fantastic signing for Blackburn, inspiring their promotion from League One last season. West Brom must try their best to prise the playmaker away from Ewood Park in January.

A creative midfielder who possesses great vision and technique, Dack would certainly add quality to West Brom’s squad. Following his eye-catching displays in the Championship so far, the Blackburn star would be worth the punt.

Danny Simpson (Leicester City)

Danny Simpson, who played a prominent role in Leicester City’s Premier League success of 2016, has been included in the Premier League squad this season but has not made a first-team appearance.

With Daniel Amartey and Ricardo Pereira ahead of Simpson in the pecking order, the 31-year-old could be ready to leave Leicester in January. West Brom must sign Simpson as Moore’s side still look a bit thin on the right-hand side of the defence.

Signing Simpson would be an excellent piece of business by West Brom and he could be a hit at the Hawthorns.
