3 Quality former transfer targets West Ham could revisit this summer including £90,000-a-week Arsenal star

Having parted ways with David Moyes and appointed Manuel Pellegrini, West Ham’s future is looking bright. The premier league winning manager is expected to have a trick or two up his sleeve to turn around the fortunes of the London-based club.

Along with his new approach, Pellegrini must also be looking to bring in some new additions at the club to help him achieve his target.

Here 3 former transfer targets, who West Ham must pursue again. These players could benefit West Ham by contributing to the new system at the club.

Jack Wilshere

The £90,000-a-week Arsenal midfielder is yet to commit his future to his boyhood club as his contract expires in a month’s time.

West Ham were in for the English midfielder last summer and they should be even more persistent this year regarding the prospect of signing the player on a free transfer. The fact that West Ham now have a world-class manager in Pellegrini might also help them in luring Wilshere to the club.

Jack Wilshere

The biggest prospect in English football once upon a time, Wilshere has really struggled with injuries over the years. Although he might never realise the world-class potential he had back then, he is still a quality midfielder with lots of flair and excellent passing ability.

A move to another club in London might be enticing for Wilshere as he wouldn’t need to move to a new place.

William Carvalho

The Portuguese holding midfielder was on the radar of West Ham last summer. Slaven Bilic was reportedly keen on signing the Sporting CP player for £34m.

West Ham could really use a player of Carvalho’s ability and experience in their midfield, especially with club captain Mark Noble phasing out of the game.

William Carvalho

William Carvalho is a solid holding midfielder who uses his strength and awareness to hold the midfield together. The Portuguese international is a key player for his club and the national team for many years.

Max Kruse

The highly versatile Werder Bremen attacker was of interest to West Ham last summer. Kruse is a technically adept player, who can operate among various positions in the attack. He has had a good season with the German club where he scored and assisted a total of 12 goals.

Max Kruse

West Ham could use someone like Kruse in their ranks, as the player can provide that cutting-edge in the final third. The German could thrive in an attacking setup masterminded by new manager Pellegrini.
