One of the biggest issues in football is the use and abuse of the loan system and Chelsea are one of the biggest culprits as they have sent out tens of players out on loan, ensuring that they have a steady stream of players to call-up when needed but most of these stars never get to see or play for the Chelsea first team on a regular basis.

Victor Moses falls under that category; the 25-year-old signed for Chelsea in 2012 but has spent three seasons away on loan at Liverpool, Stoke City and West Ham United. It seems that the Nigerian is more or less a peripheral figure at the club and even though he has stated that he wants to impress manager Antonio Conte, the attacker might just be let go off this season.

With regular football his requirement, there should be a few suitors for him and we list out three possible destinations for the Chelsea player.

West Ham United

Moses did play his last season under Slaven Bilic and the attacker would know what is expected from the stars at the Hammers. The Nigerian didn’t really cement a place in the Hammers squad but he did play 21 Premier League games under the Croatian and a deal could be done fairly quickly between the two sides.

The only problem for Moses is the fact that he didn’t really shine for the squad and Bilic would no doubt be looking to get better players into his rising West Ham team. Moses though would be a decent squad player and getting him on the cheap would not be a bad move.

Middlesbrough

The newly promoted side is surely making the right noises with some of their signings and with a young manager like Aitor Karanka leading them, there is no surety as to what they might accomplish. The 42-year-old Spaniard could very well be making this another Leicester City story but they have a better chance of staying up than winning the league.

Moses knows the Premier League quite well and he could be a great cheap option for the newly promoted team. The 25-year-old could be playing alongside Viktor Fischer and maybe even Alvaro Negredo, which could be a great attacking line-up for Boro.

Newcastle United

This one might be a little sketchy, the side were relegated to the Championship but they are making the right moves and have signed players such as Dwight Gayle. They will still need more quality for next season and Moses could be a player that shines in the lower leagues.

A loan deal could be the perfect opportunity for the Nigerian to get his mojo back and who knows, he could be the one who leads Newcastle back to the Premier League next season.

Chelsea do need to get rid of a few stars and Moses would not be playing a lot of games under Conte this season, so it would be better for him to make a move early in the transfer window than wait for a lot of time, sit on the bench and not progress his career at all.
