3 Possible Chelsea Transfer Targets You Haven’t Considered For The Summer Window

Share

Chelsea might be looking to revamp their squad, after all this season hasn’t been the best and the only player who can come out with any positive remarks is Willian. The side are known for their lavish spending in the transfer window but sometimes they should try to get someone who they scout well and wouldn’t have to pay through the nose.

Of course, getting linked with Chelsea, automatically adds a few extra million to your price tag but the Blues should look to target more players who aren’t the biggest names in world football. Lionel Messi was linked with a ludicrous move to Stamford Bridge a few months ago but Chelsea should be looking to sign one of these three players who might not be the biggest names or get linked with Chelsea all too often but they can certainly do a good job.

Koke

Chelsea do need to look at their midfield, they do need someone who can provide them with a lot of mobility and movement. While everyone speaks about Griezmann and Jan Oblak but Koke has been one of the unsung heroes for the other club from Madrid.

Koke is just 24-years-old at the moment and that would be the deal maker for Chelsea. They probably will sign Diego Simeone as their next coach and with the wily Argentine at the club; he would need someone who is known to his coaching style. Koke doesn’t just fit that but he can do a good job for the Blues as well.

Lars Stindl

Speaking of midfielders, the Blues could also try to sign one of the heroes in the Bundesliga Lars Stindl; the midfielder is having a wonderful season for Borussia Monchengladbach. He is 27-years-old and isn’t the youngest midfielder out there but he certainly can play in a range of positions and that could be perfect for Chelsea.

Stindl has six goals and five assists to his name and that isn’t bad for someone who plays in a deeper role. Stindl might not be known to everyone but he certainly is someone who can change stuff for the Blues and he could turn out to be the next Ballack.

Saul Niguez

Chelsea also need to look at their defence and they could try to sign this gem of a player from Atletico Madrid. Talking about the connections with Diego Simeone, Saul is the perfect person for all this. The 21-year-old can play both in central defence and in midfield and that would work well for the Blues.

Instead of targeting someone like a John Stones, Chelsea should try to sign Saul and with him spending a bit of time in England, who knows he could become the next big thing for the Blues.
