For those who have been living under a rock, Manchester United did something spectacular by signing Bastian Schweinsteiger from Bayern Munich. This has got to be the transfer of the window so far and surely catapults United to Premier League contenders, they still have a few more aces up the sleeve though.

Bastian might solve their midfield problems for now, but there are a few other issues which need to be resolved, we trust Sir Ed Woodward has a plan for that as well. We are trying to sort that out and look at three players who could be joining Manchester United in the coming weeks.

1. Jasper Cillessen

With the transfer merry go around about in full swing, Manchester United could sign the Dutch goalkeeper from Ajax. Iker Casillas is bound to leave Real Madrid for Porto which could pave the way for David de Gea to join United.

Having Victor Valdes as a keeper might not be the best way to start the season and Manchester United are expected to sign the 26-year-old who has played under Louis Van Gaal, as part of the Dutch team in the 2014 World Cup.

2. Thomas Muller

Resembling a buy-1-get-1 deal, Manchester United could be on the lookout for a striker to solve their goal scoring problems. Radamel Falcao and Robin Van Persie are out of the club and United cannot rely on the exploits of Wayne Rooney alone next season.

Muller seems to have had a bit of a bust-up with Pep Guardiola and he could be willing to move to United. It might seem a bit of a stretch to say this deal will happen 100%, but no one and we mean no one expected Bastian to sign with United. 3. Morgan Schneiderlin

The 25-year-old French midfielder has been in a tug of war between his current employers, Southampton and the club he wants to play for. Morgan was expected to sign with Arsenal last season but at the last minute, the deal was blocked off.

Now, United seem to be the favorites to sign the Frenchman and with Ronal Koeman doing such a great job at Southampton and his signings working so well, he could let go of the Frenchman to his ‘best friend’ Louis Van Gaal, sarcasm intended. Morgan would be a great signing for United especially since he has loads of Premier League experience, just want Manchester United need in their midfield.
