3 Players Liverpool Could Opt To Sign As Sadio Mane’s AFCON Replacement

Liverpool have been the most prolific scoring team in the Premier League so far, and this has been one of the many reasons as to why they’ve been able to destroy every single side they’ve faced so far. Their scoring form has been improved mainly because of their newcomer and most recent star, Sadio Mane, who arrived from Southampton and since his arrival to Melwood, he has made a huge impact playing alongside the Brazilian dynamic duo of Roberto Firmino and Philippe Coutinho.

Mane has provided serious versatility to Liverpool’s offense and the 24-year old has become an instant fan favourite since day one. However, the Senegalese is set to spend several weeks with his national team, as he’s been chosen to represent Senegal in the upcoming African Cup.

Even if he’s reportedly been having serious conversations regarding an extension to remain at Signal Iduna Park for a couple of extra years, the youngster has  been quite open to a move to the Premier League, as he’s first steps as a soccer player were walked in England.

Cristian Pavon

This Argentinian youngster has been one of the most impressive prospects of South American soccer in the past couple of years, representing his national team in the past Olympics and being one of the most reliable scoring options at Boca Juniors playing side by side with Carlos Tevez.

Pavon has been scouted by several European clubs this season, and even if Juventus seems like the frontrunner to acquire his services, he could be a major boost for Liverpool if they wind up making a lucrative offer for the striker.

Marcelo Brozovic

The 24-year-old Croatian is a very versatile player that can play both in the center of the field or near the sidelines, and he’s been linked with several clubs since he’s apparently not comfortable at a struggling Internazionale team.

Brozovic is arguably a complete player of this list, and his arrival could significantly improve any simple roster due to his ability to create, defend and put the ball into the back of the net, but he’s the player with the less offensive profile of the three.
