3 Players Chelsea Can Sign By Breaking The Bank: Featuring The Mega Stars From Serie A

Share

With Antonio Conte coming to the London club Chelsea, the fans and the players are expecting a new dawn from the next season. Antonio Conte is regarded as one of the most successful managers in the football industry and him coming to the club is surely a plus point for the team.

Chelsea had a disastrous season this term and every single fan wants to forget everything that happened this year. The new manager always brings a lot of rumors and so does Conte. He has spent a very successful tenure at Italy in his career and therefore, many players from the Italian league are linked with a move to Chelsea. That surely is a good news for the club, but they must not forget that there will be no Champions League football at the Bridge next season, so many of the rumors will remain as it is.

It is also rumored that Antonio Conte is ready to off load many names from the current squad to make a way for the new arrivals. Players like Ivanovic and Mikel didn’t have a great season to show for and that’s why, these two might be the names who could be leaving the side in the coming transfer window.

As I mentioned before that Chelsea will not be playing in the champions league next season, and that’s why the club will have a tough time to convince the top players, and here, we give you 3 players for whom Chelsea will have to break the bank-

    1. Paul Pogba-

The obvious choice isn’t it? The Frenchman is having a time of his life with the Italian side Juventus. The Old Lady recently won their 5th consecutive Serie A title and Pogba played a major role in that. The Frenchman scored 8 goals for the team and created 54 chances.

The reports are suggesting that Chelsea are linked with the player for a potential move, but as they won’t be giving him the Champions league appearance, the side will have to offer a humungous amount to the player as well as to the club. Pogba might have a good relationship with Conte, but right at this very moment, the player is a mega star, and mega stars won’t come for a cheap price.

    1. Antoine Griezmann-

Another French superstar! Griezmann currently is one of the most wanted attackers in Europe due to his brilliant performance throughout the season. It is hard to predict that whether this Frenchman will stay in Madrid, or will make a big money move.

Many teams like Manchester United, Chelsea, and Bayern Munich are chasing the star, but one thing is for sure; whosoever signs him, they will have to pay a prodigious amount of money to confirm him as their own. Atletico Madrid will be playing against Real Madrid for the Champions League trophy this month. So, would he leave a club that is doing very well both domestically and in Europe? That’s a big question in this transfer saga.

    1. Gonzalo Higuain-

The Argentine goal poacher is considered as one of the most lethal strikers after his tremendous performance with the Italian side Napoli. Higuain struggled a lot during his time at Real Madrid, but the player looks reborn this season. Higuain scored 36 goals in his 35 Serie A appearances this season, and that’s why, many clubs may want him in Summer.

Napoli finished 2nd this season, and will be looking forward to play in the Champions League next term. Surely there will be many offers for Higuain, and the club will only sell this Argentine if a mega bid is received. Believe it or not, Chelsea’s current record signing is still £50m that the club gave to sign Fernando Torres. And if they tend to sign Higuain, they will surely have to pay much more than that.
