3 Explosive La Liga Stars Tottenham Should Try To Sign In The Next Window

Share

After missing out on the Premier League title to Leicester City last season, Mauricio Pochettino’s Tottenham Hotspur side have managed to launch yet another half-title charge this season as they stand in the 2nd place, 9 points off Chelsea at the top of the table. The manager will be happy with the recent performances of the squad but will be looking to improve on it at the end of the season and this has seen him linked with a number of stars recently. There are some big names doing the rounds recently but Pochettino is choosy and has a set of requirements that need to be fulfilled before a player can move to the Lane. So here are 3 such players from the La Liga, the Spanish domestic league, that Pochettino can sign in the summer:

There are some big names doing the rounds recently but Pochettino is choosy and has a set of requirements that need to be fulfilled before a player can move to the Lane. So here are 3 such players from the La Liga, the Spanish domestic league, that Pochettino can sign in the summer:

Isco (Real Madrid):

Arguably the most exciting player that might be up for sale in Spain this summer, Isco is unsettled at the Bernabeu at the moment and is looking for a way out of the club at the end of the season. He has not been able to cement a place in the starting XI this season and Tottenham Hotspur are one of the many clubs who would want him at their club next season.

He will cost on the higher side but if Pochettino has his eyes set on the star, he may be able to get him, as he can give him a promise of regular game time in the Premier League. They are also expected to play in the Champions League next season which might also act a push.

Sandro Ramirez (Malaga):

Though Pochettino has the likes of Vincent Janssen and Harry Kane in his lineup, the manager is looking to add yet another attacking player to his squad and former Barcelona man Sandro Ramirez is not a bad option. The 21-year old, who joined Malaga just this season, has 7 goals in 17 appearances for the Spanish outfit and has been in decent form.

He ticks most boxes for Pochettino and is a player who can make an immediate impact at the White Hart Lane. Though he will have to fight for his place in the side with Harry Kane, at just 21, he has enough time to establish himself as a regular in London and will be a decent coup for Pochettino this summer.

Cedric Bakambu (Villarreal):

Though not as attractive a target as the other two in the list, Bakambu has also been on the radar of a few European clubs earlier in the last couple of transfer windows, but a deal has never materialized because of the injury problems the player has had recently.  At 25, Bakambu has 2 goals in 9 appearances for the Spanish side this season and is a decent option for Tottenham Hotspur to mix things up. He provides a different threat to goal than any other player currently in the squad at the Lane and is more than a decent option for Mauricio Pochettino this summer.
