£24.7m Manchester United Target Completes Medical At Old Trafford, Deal Set To Be Announced On Wednesday

Share

It is being suggested that Barcelona forward Pedro has already taken part of his medical at Manchester United, after a £24.7m deal was agreed between the two clubs, as per reports. The Red Devils were keen on signing the Spanish winger, as the perfect replacement for Argentine international Angel Di Maria, who joined Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint Germain recently.

While Barca will surely not let go of their 28-year old winger until after the Uefa Super Cup, which is on Tuesday, Italian outlet Gazzetta dello Sport added that a £24.7m fee has already been accepted by the Catalan giants and Pedro has already taken the first part of his medical with the Premier League giants.

Manager Louis van Gaal is still looking to strengthen his squad this summer, after his side won their opening game of the league season against Spurs at Old Trafford on Saturday.

It is hoped that the Spaniard can complete the final part of his medical quickly and United can probably announce a deal on Wednesday.
