According to a report in Daily Mail, Premier League side Everton are prepared to let go of midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin. The Frenchman was signed from Manchester United for a fee rising up to £24m. However, the Toffees can let the player leave on a cut-price deal as they seek to trim fringe players and spend that money elsewhere in the transfer market.
The 29-year-old has only featured seven times in the league this season, clearly showing that manager Marco Silva doesn’t see him as a first-choice midfielder. Hence, it makes sense from Everton’s point of view that they are looking to offload the player sooner than later.

Schneiderlin spent seven years at the St.Mary’s and played over 260 games in that period, spreaded across the Championship, League One and also the Premier League. He was one of the important players in the Saints’ team. He eventually attracted interest from Manchester United and moved to Old Trafford.
However, he couldn’t be the main man at United but the 29-year-old still has the talent and qualities to be a sturdy midfielder for Southampton.
