Youth To Start Again For Liverpool – Projected Reds Line Up To Face Newcastle United

Share

After an outstanding victory at Anfield this week, Liverpool will now be facing Rafa Benitez’s. The Magpies have a tough task, but they recently gave a fascinating performance against Manchester City and made their point very clear that they won’t be giving the points that easily.

Liverpool had an easy game this week at Anfield where the side were able to thrash their rivals Everton with a comfortable scoreline of 4-0. Newcastle, on the other hand, were unlucky where they could have won the game but Aguero’s offside goal was granted and the side had to settle down with a point.

It will be an emotional return for the Spanish manager as he had so many memories to cherish at Liverpool. But obviously, Liverpool have the upper hand in the game as their current run of form says for itself. Castle, on the other hand, are improving but still they need to figure out their defensive complications if they tend to move out of the relegation zone. Speaking of their forms; Liverpool have won 4 of their last 6 games and have lost just once and Magpies have won just once in their last 6 games and have lost 3.

Though Klopp is making many changes to his side in every game, we will try to predict the Lineup for this one.

Goalkeeper: Danny Ward-

Though Danny needs improvement in his handling, he can be used in the games like these. Liverpool will be facing Villarreal in the next week, so Mignolet can be rested and this young lad might get an another chance.

Defence: Randall; Toure; Sakho; Smith-

Randall had some nervous touches in his last game but soon he settled onto the field and did a great job for the team. He will surely be a solid presence in the team if he gets an another chance. Sakho is turning into a beast; his tackling is improving and is becoming a leader in defence. He can be tried out alongside Toure. Furthermore, Smith might get another chance as Klopp will want to give his players some rest after a hectic week.

Midfield: Ibe; Firmino; Milner; Allen; Ojo-

No wonder Jordan Ibe is improving under Klopp. Had the habit of running down blindly in the flanks, but showed a great character in his last game and can be opted again. Milner is a tireless worker for the club and played a big role in Liverpool’s latest triumph. He can be played alongside Allen in the center of the park to bring some stability to the game. Firmino can be played in the number 10 role just behind the striker. Ojo, on the other hand, was strong and confident in his runs (in his last game) and can be trusted in place of Coutinho against Newcastle United.

Striker: Daniel Sturridge-

Origi was unfortunately stretched off in the last game and the manager won’t be taking any risk to play him in the next game against the Magpies for sure. Hence, Sturridge is the best option Klopp has who could well replace Origi in the attack.
