German playmaker Mesut Ozil may end up being the second candidate to join Arsenal’s bitter rivals Manchester United after Robin Van Persie. Although nobody would have expected, such a move is possible.
According to TuttoMercato Web, Manchester United’s first choice replacement for Louis Van Gaal, Jose Mourinho will be making a move to sign the German playmaker into United if he is appointed as the Old Trafford boss.

Mourinho has earlier coached Ozil earlier during their time at Real Madrid and is said to be a huge fan of the player.
Ozil’s contract with Arsenal runs till 2017-2018 season and as of now he has not yet penned a new deal with the Gunners. Earlier reports also suggested that the player wants to exit the North London club after a drop in the form of the squad, while at the run for the Premier League title.
Red Devils and the Gunners are on the run for the rank closer to the Premier League title, United will need to win two more of their upcoming matches to finish at the third place and Arsenal need to beat Aston Villa to avoid being in the fourth place.
