Winter Transfers: Arsenal And Man United Should Sign These 3 Real Madrid Stars

Share

At the half-point of this season the top European clubs have to decide which footballers are no longer needed or whose wages are inappropriate to the level the player represents. Some footballers lack form, while others simply can’t find a place in the lineup. Spanish giants Real Madrid, after selling Mesut Ozil back in August, could be dismissing other well-known players who would probably land in the English Premier League.

Here are the three Real Madrid stars which are likely to land at a Premier League club:

Álvaro Morata

The 21-year-old forward is a star in the U-21 Spain national team scoring 12 goals in 11 appearances, however he is not given enough opportunities at Santiago Bernabeu. Since Mourinho had left the Spanish starlet has not started a single La Liga game in the Starting 11. Morata is likely to leave Los Galacticos for a less competitive club where he would be given a first team chance. The  €12 million-rated striker could be making his way to Arsenal London, as the club is said to be searching for a young goal-scoring striker. This transfer window Morata is said to make a move to Etihad Stadium on a six-month loan and later move to England on a permanent deal.

Although he is regarded as the next best thing, Real Madrid cannot afford to give him chances on a regular basis owing to the huge competition for the title race. A loan deal would be ideal for all the three parties here – Madrid can benefit with the experience he can gain from playing elsewhere, Arsenal can get a quality replacement for Olivier Giroud and most importantly Morata can get a decent run in the first team.

Ángel Di María

Di María is no longer in outstanding form as he used to be and at the age of 25 could follow his ex-teammate Mesut Ozil by moving to a Premier League club. The Argentinian midfielder is said to be on David Moyes’s wishlist, as the Red Devils are looking for a footballer who would boost the team up ahead of the second season half. According to transfermarkt.co.uk the winger is valued at £30 million at has a valid contract with Real Madrid until 2018. However to transfer the Argentinian star, Manchester United will have to overbid Juventus competition, who are also interested in signing Di María.

Karim Benzema

The French forward, who joined Real Madrid at the age of 21 from Olympique Lyon was named one in the football universe. Sadly, Karim had lost his top-class form in La Liga back in 2012, as a result Bigbenz was more often seen sidelined, as Gonazalo Higuain was given more chances. Benzema is another option for Arsene Wenger to strengthen the Gunners‘ attack, as neither Olivier Giroud, Nicklas Bendtner guarantee regular goal scoring.

The deal taking the French striker to Arsenal would cost around £30 million, however Benzema, now aged 26, can still reach the peak of his form, this time in the Premier League.
