Fulham will welcome 18th placed Wolverhampton to Craven Cottage this Saturday in Matchweek 38 of the EFL Championship.
The Cottagers come into the game on the back of a 2-2 draw against struggling Blackburn Rovers on Wednesday night but will be hoping to bounce back with a win and move into the play-off positions in the standings. Fulham have faced Paul Lambert’s men three times already this season and on all the three occasions the result has been a draw. However, Fulham manager Slavisa Jokanovic will be hoping to get the full points this time at home.
Fulham will be without the services of attacking midfielder Lucas Piazon for the game while Thanos Pestos is fit again and was included in the matchday squad for Wednesday. Floyd Ayite is being assessed day by day and his involvement will be decided prior to the game.
In goal for Fulham will be David Button. The shot-stopper was at fault against Blackburn midweek but has kept 10 clean sheets and will start on Saturday as well.
At right-back will be the impressive Ryan Fredericks. The former Tottenham Hotspur man has been a solid presence in defence and has been good while going forward as well.
In the heart of the defence will be Tim Ream. The 29-year old has been excellent at the back for Fulham and will hold on to his place.
Alongside Ream will be Chelsea loanee Tomas Kalas. The Czech Republic international has forged an excellent partnership with Ream and will hope to keep it going against the Wolves.
And completing the backline will be 25-year old Scott Malone at left-back. The full-back has scored four goals and has three assists to his name and will be crucial for the Cottagers.
In the middle of the park will be Kevin McDonald. The 28-year old has just missed three games this season and is a vital presence on the field for Fulham.
Alongside McDonald will be Stefan Johansen. The 26-year old has scored seven times in the Championship this season and will look to make an impact on Saturday.
Completing the midfield trio will be the excellent Tom Cairney. The 27-year old sits deep and pulls the strings for Fulham. Expect nothing different against Wolves as well.
On the right-flank, it will be Neeskens Kebano. The Congolese has started the last five games on the right-hand side for the Cottagers and has impressed heavily.
And he will be complemented by the young Ryan Sessegnon on the opposite flank. The 16-year old has been brilliant in recent weeks. At such a young age he has become a regular starter.
Spearheading the attack will be 28-year old Sone Aluko. The forward scored the opener against Blackburn on Wednesday and will lead the line on Saturday as well.
