Tottenham Player Ratings Against Bournemouth: Kane and Eriksen Top the Charts

Share

Hugo Lloris: 6

In spite of conceding an early goal, Lloris made a superb save to keep out Ritchie’s dipping effort. Had a very good game and led his team from the front.

Hugo Lloris

Kyle Walker: 5

Inconsistent. The full back pushed forward at every opportunity, but did not convince in Tottenham’s defence.

Toby Alderweireld: 6

The Belgian is a real threat at set pieces and continues to display excellent passing skills. Had a solid game overall.

Jan Vertonghen: 5

Poor in the air and wasteful in possession. He also struggled to keep the Glenn Murray threat away.

Danny Rose: 4

Rose had a poor game as his defensive error costed Bournemouth’s goal and provided the attack with some disappointing crosses. He also failed to keep Matt Ritchie at bay.

Dele Alli: 5.5

Even though he did not have a great match by his standards, his touches and vision remained top-class. He looked comfortable when he was moved to number 10 later on.

Dele Alli

Eric Dier: 6

His sturdy and composed presence in front of the back four has become vital to Mauricio Pochettino’s side. Once again, he produced a robust display.

Mousa Dembele: 7

After a disappointing game against Anderlecht in the Europa League, the Belgian bounced back with a pretty decent performance. He ended up scoring a goal for Tottenham.

Christian Eriksen: 8.5

The Danish International is peaking at the right time. The midfielder’s build up play was superb and his vision and technique was too much for the Bournemouth back line.

Erik Lamela: 6.5

Worked tirelessly and jumped at the chance to score from close range. Still has plenty of people to convince but his resurgence continued.

Harry Kane: 9

Harry Kane

Finally, it seems like the English striker is coming to the party. With this hat-trick, Kane will have his confidence suitably boosted. He produced excellent movement throughout and finished the chances he got.
