Share

The world of football is dominated by some big names in the sport. The likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi, and Antoine Griezmann will be the cover of the sport for a couple of years but there is a whole generation of superstars who are ready to take the next step towards bigger things in a couple of years. Almost every league in Europe has some raw players who are at the start of their career, who are sure to come good in the next few years. These players remain the future of the sport and now, more than ever, there is a vast amount of quality in this age group in Europe at the moment. Some of them have already established themselves for their clubs and countries but there are a number of stars who are in the making. Here are 5 such young superstars who are ready to take the world by a storm in the next few years.

Ben Woodburn (Liverpool; 17):

Already on the fringes of the senior side at Anfield and also the Welsh national side, Ben Woodburn is arguably the brightest youngster in the English Premier League at the moment. He is the second youngest player to score for Liverpool and also made his debut in the Premier League recently under Jurgen Klopp. He is in exceptional form for the U23s for Liverpool and is one of the next biggest things in Europe.

Ben Woodburn

Gabriel Jesus (Manchester City; 19):

The Brazilian attacker has already made a name for himself with very few appearances at the Etihad. Under Pep Guardiola, he has a chance to grow on and become one of the best attackers in world football. Great technique, and an even greater ability combined with a vision that matches both, the 19-year old has already helped his national side to some astonishing results. Though he is currently injured, he has ample time to be a first team star at the Etihad and grow even more in stature in the years to come.

Gabriel Jesus

Alexander Isak (Borussia Dortmund; 17):

Dubbed as the next ‘Zlatan Ibrahimovic’, the Swedish striker is the best thing to happen to the country in the sport since they lost the Manchester United man at the start of the season. Isak, who is attracting praise from everywhere in his home country made his senior debut at the age of 16 and is still just 17 years old. However, he is already one of the most exciting stars in the sport and has a bright future ahead of him.

Alexander Isak

Christian Pulisic (Borussia Dortmund; 18):

The teenager from America is already an established winger under Thomas Tuchel at the Signal Iduna Park and he has impressed every time he has taken the field this season. Known for his blistering pace, Pulisic is a complete package who has what it takes to shine at the highest level. Dortmund are hell bent on turning him into a superstar and his performances warrant as much in years to come.

Christian Pulisic

Moise Kean (Juventus; 16):

The youngest player on the list and probably the least popular, Kean has 24 goals in 25 games for the junior side in Italy and became the only player to be born in the 21st century to play in the Serie A and also the Champions League. Though Juventus are still cautious about involving him in the first team, the 16-year old has what it takes to play for the senior side and grow into one of the best players in the sport.
