Top 5 Potential Future Ballon d’Or Winners From EPL: 1 From Arsenal, 3 From Chelsea And 1 Liverpool Star

Share

Although the Premier League has never been famed for it’s young talent, there are still a few players capable of scooping the world’s top individual prize. Let’s see the list in detail,

5. Aaron Ramsey

Ramsey

With the Welshman’s current form, if he was to keep it up for the majority of the rest of his career, it is possible that he will at least be nominated for the Ballon d’Or. Though this could go as good news or bad news to Arsenal, as the player who picks up the award has usually been part of a successful club, and with Arsenal struggling to win trophies in recent years, if the drought continues much longer, he may look for a move to one of Europe’s more successful clubs.

4. Philippe Coutinho

Coutinho

The Liverpool midfielder is a curious case. After flopping miserably in Serie A with Inter Milan and also failing to impress in La Liga with Espanyol, he has flourished at Liverpool and is showing the promise he was meant to at previous clubs. The Brazilian attacking midfielder is one of the brightest young prospects in the Premier League, and is one of the players more likely to pick up a Ballon d’Or in the future.

3. Romelu Lukaku

Lukaku

To say that Romelu Lukaku will be a future Ballon d’Or winner is a long shot. Not overly talented, he mainly uses speed and skill to score and makes prey out of weaker defenders. Having said that, he uses his physical prowess in the best way possible, and is regarded by many as the Premier League’s best young striker. Though it isn’t clear how much longer he will be in England’s top flight, as Chelsea seem unwilling to give him a chance, though some of mainland Europe’s bigger clubs are understood to be monitoring the Belgians progress with Everton. Even though he plays for Everton, we considered him as a Chelsea (his parent club) player in this list.

2. Oscar

Oscar, Chelsea’s new wonder kid!!

The perfect replacement for Frank Lampard, Oscar has risen as not only one of the best young players in the Premier League, but one of the best players England has to offer.  Chelsea got him at the age of 21, and now you get a sense of just how special he is. With wonderful passing ability and an eye for goal, he can also drop deep and use the dynamic side of his game to run the midfield and launch attacks. One of the best young players in Europe overall.

1. Eden Hazard

Hazard

The third Chelsea player to make the list, Hazard is arguably the best player in the Premier League, alongside the likes of Luis Suarez, Rooney, RVP and Mesut Ozil. Coming 23 in January, the young Belgian is in his last few months of being eligible of being nominated for young player awards, but that doesn’t seem too much of a problem for him as he has already made the step up many fail to make. Arguably the best young player in Europe, Hazard is the young player in the Premier League that is most likely to scoop a Ballon d’Or in the future.
