Three Players Who Should Find Their Way Out Of Man United This Summer

Share

So the decision is made. David Moyes is the man trusted with one of the toughest jobs of the world, to succeed Sir Alex Ferguson as the Manchester United manager. He will take charge of the side right from the next season and will have Sir Alex as one of the directors. For following the legacy of Sir Alex Ferguson, Moyes must bring some players to his squad and at the same time should get rid of some underperformers from the United side. We talk of some players whose time in Manchester United is under a lot speculation and Moyes would definitely want to start the season without them.

Is it time for these two to step down? At-least for Scholes, Yes!

Paul Scholes– The Manchester United legend returned from his retirement last January to solve the midfield crisis for his club. But since 2013, he has played not a single match owing to injury and it looks like his gametime will never revive in United. Scholes has been a one man club and never been managed by anyone else apart from Ferguson. Thus it maybe the right time for Scholes to bid adieu to football and take up backroom jobs for the club, which he has served all his life.

Nani– He was tipped to fill the vacancy created by Ronaldo in the midfield and in between 2009 and 2011 he did score a lot of vital goals for the club and also creating a number of others. But his form has been too poor for a very long period of time and he has been unable to cope up with his injury, which has affected his performance in a big way. His relation with the club hierarchy is also assumed to be poor and this may finally lead Nani out of Old Trafford at the end of this season.

Anderson– He was brought in from Porto with a huge fee and amid tremendous expectations back in 2007. But his United career never really took off and he has only made 18 games with full 90 minutes on the field since. United play in a style which makes the wings one of the most vital areas of their attack, if not the most vital. Moyes would definitely want someone with more credibility in that position and thus Anderson would probably be on his way out.
